Get to know me!

Hi, my name is Denisse Galarza. Welcome to my little corner on the internet. I speak both English and Spanish- Spanglish. I am the first generation in my family to have been able to pursue my dreams. I come from an unsteady background family tree. Growing up in a hispanic religious home with a single independent mother, I've had the opportunity to expand my confidence and become grateful with the smallest things in life. Due to not being able to experience the "dream family" yet, I have been able to research my own ethnic background and family tree on Ancestry DNA where I have found many documents and information from lost family. During my years of life I have grown to love and cherish each given moment that life has to offer. I plan to take upon many request and set many goals for myself and with that I tend to capture and cherish each memory within a click of a button. I am OBSESSED with creativity, photography has become a passion now and making those moments last forever is so special to me.

I have dedicated the time to pursue and invest in Photography. Being a full time RDA (registered dental assistant) for 15+ years, I have finally decided to take my passion and creativity and turn it into reality. Having the experience and training in the dental field has provided me with patience and care for all my clients. Working with all ages, I adore children and elders. I take every opportunity to set adventures and tasks for myself and make it a self goal to check off my bucket list. Living in a suburban area has let me get the chance to step out of my comfort zone and let me travel to many different places. Mexico, Israel, Spain, Paris, Portugal, Hawaii, Greece and much more areas in between. Though I have no children of my own yet, I am blessed to be able to take many adventures for myself. You can always catch me biking around town or hiking around the hills with my fur baby. Volunteering my services to the Catholic Church. I love to hike and relax in the comfort of my home. If you see me around don't be shy to stop me and say hi. Chances are I may have a confused or bank face on for a few seconds then I will remember you. That's just me. Food is my love language. I am a religious person and you will always catch me speaking positively about life and love. God is my #1 world. Well what more could I say... All in all I'm grateful with life and I love nature. Having moments like these has made me realize how pleasant life is at times and we should cherish each moment in an image.

Saying this, I hope our bond has grown. We will definitely be a good match in taking the best and perfect picture for your keepsake. Join me in this awesome adventure and let's capture each moment together.

"Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, be strong and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason." - John Maver

What persuaded me into photography?

The importance of keeping memories alive...

Started off with always wanting to learn my own family tree. Fascinated with my family history and documentations of my ancestors. Unfortunately my family was in a very poor class and did not afford or extend a thought on capturing photos for keepsakes. The little scavenging was beyond grateful and knowing I can put a face to a name gave many closures. Since then I wanted to forever capture beautiful memories with my family and friends. Started as a hobby then turned into a passion and then a dream career. When given the opportunity I will take my camera every place I can go and document my journey.

Landscape, to freelance, to event and family gatherings.

To the right side image was one of my favorite photos I have ever taken. One of the most beautiful spot in Mexico, Xochimilco.

A picture is worth a thousands words.
